RV College of Engineering (RCVE) Faculty are very experienced and are pretty amazing. All the Classes are conducted in in English and sometimes in Kannada as well. So outsiders might face problems understanding what they teach but mostly the classes are conducted in English.

In RV College 50% students are from various parts of Karnataka and the rest 50% students are from various parts of the country. As a fresher one may face some problems initially in getting along, especially those who are not from Bangalore, but after spending few month in Campus they adjust well.

RV College has 2 canteens with variety of Food. South Indian Food and North Indian Food are served. Mostly south Indian food tastes good. There is good sitting arrangement in Canteens. Good part is that the Canteen offers food at very reasonably priced
Festivals:
There are various festivals celebrated in RVCE every year but ‘8th Mile’ is the biggest and main among all of them. It’s an annual inter-college techno-cultural fest held in March every year.

RV College has very good Job Placement Service after successful completion of Courses. Almost 100% placement for all branches is assured and guaranteed. Various IT companies and Technology Companies visit the campus for Placement, so CS, IS and ECE branches gets 4.5 – 6 lakh Salary Packages on average. IBM, Wipro & Accenture are the major recruiters for these branches. Big MNCs like Microsoft & Texas Instruments also took a few students offering an amazing package of 10 to 12 Lakhs.
