SLAT Exam Pattern 2024 – Section Wise Distribution
The SLAT exam comprises a total of five sections – Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. Each of the sections comprises 12 questions that carry one mark each. The section-wise distribution of questions and marks has been given below:

SLAT Exam Pattern
Symbiosis International University (SIU) has released the SLAT 2024 exam pattern in online mode through its official website. The SLAT paper pattern 2024 sheds light on exam modalities that include duration of the exam, total number of questions, total marks, marking scheme and more.
Candidates preparing for Symbiosis Law Admission Test can go through the exam pattern and get detailed information about how the exam will be conducted, what kind of questions will be asked in the entrance exam, mode of the exam etc. SIU will conduct SLAT 2024 in two phases. The SLAT 2024 Test 1 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, while the SLAT Test 2 will be conducted on May 11, 2024.
SLAT WAT Pattern 2024
The Written Ability Test or WAT is conducted after the SLAT entrance exam. The WAT round is a test that analyzes candidates’ writing skills. In this test, candidates will be required to write an essay on the subject specified by the exam conducting authorities. Candidates will be given a time of 30 minutes to complete the essay. The WAT round will be conducted by each SLS separately and candidates will be given intimation on email about the schedule.
The topics in WAT will include current legal, political and social issues or general issues like gender development, computer and information technology, education etc. In this test, candidates will be given two topics, out of which they will have to choose one.
