About Program

The PGDM focuses on developing management skills and business acumen through an extensive case-study-based pedagogy simulating real-life decision-making. Summer Internship

The summer internship of Great Lakes is structured more in tune with the traditional summer internships offered across B-schools. Eligibility Criteria – Admissions PGDM 2025 Intake

In case an eligible candidate would like to apply for both the programs, they may do so by filling the application forms for both PGPM and PGDM separately. Candidates will be evaluated based on the respective program’s admission criteria. The admissions panel may also recommend the candidates for a specific program based on the assessment and program fit

Candidates with family business experience, or belonging to business families and planning to join the business after their MBA, can enroll for the PGPM – Family Business & Entrepreneurship program

There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.

Evaluation Process

Applicants are evaluated based on GMAT/CAT/XAT scores, past academic performance, work experience and performance in the AI proctored Interview and personal interview. Profile-based Early Interview Process:

Great Lakes will conduct Early interviews for PGDM Admissions 2025 wherein applicants who have registered for eligible GMAT/CAT/XAT exams but are yet to get the results would be shortlisted and interviewed along with candidates with scores basis the strength of their profiles. This profile based early interview candidates would be considered for final offer post submissions of scores once the test results are declared.

The Profile Based Early Interview process has been introduced to enable students with a strong demonstrated track record to apply early and subsequently get their result early. The Early Interview process aims to give students additional time to prepare for the start of the program.

Following factors would be evaluated for the Profile-based Early Interviews:

PGDM Placement Report 2025

Great Lakes Institute of Management’s PGDM Class of 2025 celebrated a stellar placement season with robust participation from esteemed marquee recruiters like Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Nestlé, Gartner, HCL, JP Morgan Chase, PwC, Wells Fargo, ITC and many others. Students also secured offers from over 25 new recruiters spanning diverse industries, including Adani Wilmar, Godrej, MasterCard, Federal Bank, L&T Finance, etc. The average CTC offered to the Class of 2025 was 15 lakhs p.a. and the highest CTC offered was 39.3 lakhs per annum by a leading multinational FinTech firm.

Students were offered varied roles including Consultant, Key Account Manager, Credit Analyst, Retail Logisitician, Advisory Consultant, Customer Success Manager, Finance Consultant, Product Development Manager, etc.

27% of the offers came from the BFSI/NBFC sector, followed by 22% from the IT/ITeS sector, 16% from Consulting, and 9% from Financial Services. The remaining offers came from Investment Banking, FMCG/Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Aerospace, Telecom, etc. New age sectors including Fintech, Analytics, Healthtech, E-Commerce, etc also made offers to the students.

Finance roles constituted the largest proportion of offers at 33%, followed by Sales & Marketing at 32%, Tech Consulting at 12%, and Operations at 11%. Rest of the roles were offered in the domains of Analytics, Business & Strategy Consulting, Market Research & Product.
