Candidates desirous of taking admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) need to sit for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) followed by counselling. Further, NEET-qualified students aspiring for KMC Mangalore UG admissions must fill and submit the Karnataka M.B.B.S. application form.
Admission to M.Sc. Anatomy, M.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Pharmacology, and M.Sc. Physiology is offered based on the merit list prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

PharmD is the first professional degree and a prerequisite for licensing to practice as a pharmacist in many countries. MCOPS Manipal is among the pioneers in having introduced PharmD from the very beginning, supported by a team of teachers with excellent international exposure at leading universities and health centres of USA and Canada.
The PharmD curriculum focuses on core pharmacy courses in the first two years, followed by four years in the clinical setting. PharmD students are fully integrated into the multi-disciplinary, multi-specialty health care team of 2032 bedded Kasturba Hospital from the fourth year, concluding with a first-rate comprehensive muti-speciality internship in the final year.
