Who Can Apply for SCMS Pune BBA 2026?
- Candidates need to clear their Class 12 tests through any approved board to qualify.
- Select process: Uses SET marks along with how you did in the interview, then ranks everyone at the end.
Eligibility for Admission (Indian Students)
Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST categories.

What is the SET Exam?
The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an annual examination conducted by Symbiosis International University to select candidates for admission to its ten campuses across India.
It serves as a standard entrance test for various undergraduate and integrated courses in, Management, Economics, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Liberal Arts, and more.
This entrance exam is administered online across 80 cities in India, attracting a substantial number of candidates each year who aspire to secure a spot in one of SIU’s prestigious campuses.
The SET 2026 exam is a mandatory requirement for pursuing the diverse programmes offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) institutes.

Indian Students : – Reservation of seats for Special Categories
The following are the reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian students:
- Scheduled Caste: 15%
- Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
- Differently abled students: 3%
- Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats over and above the sanctioned intake.
SCMS BBA Admission 2026
The institute offers a three-year BBA programme with a seat intake of 300 students. In the BBA programme, 240 seats are available for Indian students and 60 seats are reserved for international students.
Selection criteria: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the scores obtained in SET and the performance in Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (PIWAT).

International Collaborations and Alliances
Students at SCMS have multiple opportunities to pursue a semester of study abroad. SCMS also welcomes multiple exchange students from all around the world. The fourth semester has been identified as the ‘Global Immersion Program‘ semester.
During the GIP semester, SCMS students have the choice and opportunity to complete any 12 credits of their choosing in a partner university of SIU across the globe and SCMS will let them transfer those credits. SCMS has collaborations and tie-ups with foreign universities for student mobility across many universities around the world for this purpose.

Scholarships are awarded to meritorious Indian and foreign national students as well and fee concessions are provided to needy students joining Symbiosis Institutes for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). All International student scholarships are administered by the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) Office in conjunction with the office of the Symbiosis Society Foundation.
