Undergraduate admissions at RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) are primarily based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) score. For the 2026 session, the KCET 2026 admit card was released online on April 10, 2026, and the exam was conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2026 by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
Additionally, RNSIT also accepts COMEDK-UGET 2026 scores for UG engineering admissions. For this exam cycle, the COMEDK UGET 2026 entrance test was scheduled to be held on May 9, 2026 (with registration beginning earlier in February 2026) for eligible candidates from outside Karnataka and other states.
Admissions in both cases are subject to meeting the qualifying cut-off and participating in the subsequent counselling and seat allocation processes.

Eligibility Criteria Admission RNS Institute of Technology Bangalore (RNSIT)
Clearing Class 12 examination/equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. English subject should be one of the main languages in the course. A minimum score of least 45 per cent marks in the qualifying examination is necessary. Candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste or Schedule Caste category Category-I and OBC category have to secure at least 40 per cent marks to be eligible.
