There is no Management Quota in VIT. Admissions to B.Tech. programmed is based on the merit rank obtained in the VITEEE 2023 and for other Undergraduate programmed, it is based on the merit of your XII/ Higher Secondary Boards by which you would be ranked accordingly.

Is there lateral entry admission available for Diploma candidates?

‘No’. There is no lateral entry admission offered for B.Tech and UG programmed. Diploma holders (10+3) are eligible for B.Sc. Multimedia and Animation, Visual Communication, Fashion Designing (Chennai) with an overall aggregate of 60%.

Could I have some information on the VITEEE?

– VIT Engineering Entrance Examination will be conducted between 2nd and 3rd week of April 2023 (Tentatively) CBT – Computer based test.
– The duration of the Entrance Examination will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes
– The details on the sessions and timings would be intimated before slot booking.

What’s new at VIT Vellore?

The last date to apply for MBA course is Mar 5. The PI is scheduled on Mar 19.
VIT Vellore BTech admission 2023 is open. The last date to apply for VITEEE is Mar 31 (tentative). VITEEE is scheduled from Apr 17 to Apr 23.
VIT Vellore MTech and MCA admission 2023 is open. The last date to apply for VITMEE is Mar 31. VITMEE is scheduled on Apr 16 and Apr 23.
PhD July session 2023 via VITREE application is open and the last date to apply for the same is Mar 31 (tentative). Further, VITREE 2023 is held on Apr 16 and Apr 23 (tentative).
Applications for 2023-24 to UG, MSW, and MDes courses are open now and the last date for the same is May 31 (tentative). Further, the last date to apply for MSc is May 22.

Which Engineering stream would I be eligible to apply for if I opt for Physics, Chemistry and Biology?
If you have opted for Physics, Chemistry and Biology in VITEEE 2023, you would be eligible only for (1) B.Tech Bio-Engineering, (2) B.Tech Biotechnology, (3) B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics, (4) B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics). (5) B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialization in Biomedical Engineering

1) Indian passport holders whose parents are employed abroad can apply for both NRI as well as VITEEE (separate application and admission procedures).

2) PIO card holders can also apply for VITEEE but those holding only foreign passports are not eligible.
