BNMIT Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:
- You must have completed class 12th/PUC from regular, classroom-based programs.
- You must have studied science subjects in class 12th, including Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
- You must have secured at least 45% overall marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subjects to apply for admission.
- You must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
- All students who have passed class 12th with science stream subjects are eligible to apply for admission to BNMIT, Bangalore.
Admission through Karnataka CET:
- The Government of Karnataka conducts the Karnataka CET entrance exams every year.
- Only Karnataka state students are eligible to participate in the KCET entrance exams.
- 45% of the total intake at BNMIT is reserved for students who qualify through the Karnataka CET entrance exam.
- You must score a good rank in the KCET entrance exam to qualify for merit quota seat allotment through counselling.
Admission through COMEDK UGET:
- The Consortium of Private Engineering Colleges in Karnataka conducts the COMEDK entrance exam every year.
- All India students are eligible to participate in the COMEDK UGET entrance exam.
- 30% of the total intake at BNMIT is reserved for students who participate in the COMEDK entrance exams.
- You must score a good rank in the COMEDK UGET to qualify for merit quota seat allotment through counselling.

25% of the total intake at BNMIT is reserved under the management quota for direct admission.
