DSCE Bangalore, also known as Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, was established in 1979. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University. B.E Programs

For UG, the college admission is through the entrance test / Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka / COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admission.

■ A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the subjects/languages.

■ A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Computer science /, Electronics.

■ Candidates belonging to Karnataka SC, ST & other backward classes (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects.

M.Tech Programs

A pass in B E/ B.Tech or equivalent examination.

A written test is conducted by the university for candidates, and a rank list is obtained. Based on this, the candidate will appear for admission carried out through a single window counselling process.
